Optional exceedance monitoring function provides a warning of potential overtemp, overtorque etc. and also records exceedance data in non-volatile memory within the instrument itself. No additional black boxes are needed.

As an example, the temperature instrument will record
 
  • Max temp on start
  • Time in red band 
     (start limits)
  • Max temp in flight
  • Time in red band
     (in-flight limits)
  • Number of starts
  • Running total of start & in-flight exceedances
  • Average temp for each of last 4 flights, plus engine running times

Takes away the usual post flight guesswork and saves time and money on unnecessary intervention
